为什么是联合山?
I wanted to study 日本 because everything about the culture intrigued me. I found out that Mount was one of very few institutions in Ohio that offered 日本 and 要求 study abroad for students to complete the program. I decided to tour the campus and apply; after being accepted, my journey in 日本 began! I instantly fell in love with the curriculum which allowed me to befriend people with similar interests as mine.
Real-World Experiences
As a student I was involved in many organizations such as 日本 Club and the Association of International Students. Being involved in multiple executive boards allowed me to improve my intercultural and interpersonal communication skills because I use them daily in my current position. An unforgettable experience that enhanced my knowledge about the 日本 culture was studying abroad. Another experience that I lived in undergrad was participating in Honors Convocation because my hard work was paying off.
Life after Mount Union
Aside from studying 日本, I also studied business administration and communication studies. I gained a wide array of skills through these other two concentrations. After graduating I landed a job as a Claims Administrative Support Specialist. I help internal clients with administrative tasks, such as mailing of claims letters, 信息披露政策, 以及索赔赔付. This job will allow me to gain managerial skills and potentially further my education.
